Are seasonal allergies getting to you? Try this simple but delicious recipe to battle seasonal allergies while boosting your immune system. It is also a crowd favorite at summer BBQs or parties. Recipe below or check out this short video on how to make this awesome lemonade:

Honey is a great natural remedy to reducing seasonal allergies. Honey has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties which can help reduce symptoms of seasonal allergies. Add honey to a lemonade, instead of sugar, for a natural sweetener that will also help you stabilize your blood sugar. Bonus, the lemons are anti-inflammatory and contribute to about 80% of your daily Vitamin C, giving your body an added immune boost.

Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients: 5 large lemons, squeezed; 1 cup raw unfiltered honey; 1 TBSP stevia; water

Instructions: Squeeze lemons. Add 1 QT Water (warm water helps honey to melt) to a 2 QT pitcher. Mix fresh squeezed lemon juice, 1 cup honey, 1 TBSP of stevia into water. Fill the rest of the pitcher with water and mix well until honey is dissolved. Chill and enjoy!

Optional: Infuse pitcher with fresh seasonal berries for additional flavors. Or add 2 oz of vodka to glass for a healthy adult beverage.
